Christie Brinkley’s husband is sorry

Christie Brinkley, who would have to be considered one of the world’s most desirable women, has to face the news that her husband had a year long affair with a teenage girl. We know this type of thing happens to suburbanites all the time, but now it’s even happening to celebs.
“I love my wife. I have loved her since the day I met her. Please … I love her,” Cook told New York Post columnist Cindy Adams via his lawyer, Norman Sheresky. “For a lifetime, I’ve tried to prove how much I love her. This is an aberration. I’m sorry. I’m contrite. I’m stupid. Foolish. No excuse.”
Sounds good. But images of him with the delectable youngster are bound to haunt the aging Christie for years. Methinks the contrition comes to late to save him.
